Click below to check Texas’s statewide voter registration database to see if you are registered to vote in Texas.  Make sure you are registered in the County where you live.  If you are registered in another county, you are not automatically registered in Comal County when you move here.  You need to register in Comal County.

You can register to vote at Republican Headquarters, 265 Landa Street in New Braunfels.

You can also register at the Comal County Elections Office, 396 N. Seguin Avenue, New Braunfels, TX (Phone 830-221-1352)
They are open M-F 8 AM to 5 PM

You can register online with the Texas Secretary of State.  However, the Secretary of State will send the information to Comal County, and Comal County will record it.  Although in most cases, online registration works well, sometimes it does not work perfectly.  Therefore, always check “Am I Registered?” to make sure the process worked perfectly.

You can also register at the Department of Public Safety (when you get or renew your driver’s license).  Sometimes this process also does not work as it should.  Be sure and check your registration status, especially if you have not received a Voter Registration Certificate.

When the County receives your Voter Registration, it will send you a Voter Registration Certificate.  Your Voter Registration Certificate gives you useful information (such as your precinct number, US District Number, and School Board and Municipal numbers) as you can see from the image on your right (or below if you are viewing this on your phone).  The 2020 Voter Registration Certificates are orange.  If you have not received your Voter Registration Certificate, call the County Elections Office and they will send you another one.
